  • (6 million, 2.1/5) lost about 500,000.
  • (2.9 million, 1.2/3) did about the same.

  • Without Grissom to help out, (4.1/11 in 18-49 demo) sailed back down to 14.5 million.
  • About 9.5 million saw Kovac return on (3.8/10).
  • A special episode of (3.2/9) drew in 8.5 million.

  • (8.0 million, 2.8/8) was the smallest show of the hour.

NBC's 'Green Week' sucks a big oneOk, I’m all for saving the world, cleaning up the air and preventing whatever horrible fate Al Gore has decided awaits us in the coming decades - but this NBC “Green Week” is absolutely awful. In a week that has seen this huge writer strike, it would seem to me that network television needs every spark it can possibly get. What did NBC deliver instead? The guy from Windtalkers (now on Law & Order: SVU) telling me to recycle a pizza box … before he almost gets blown up by the bomb inside.

  • (4.8/13 in 18-49 demo) had 14.3 million viewers watch the two tribes merge last night.
  • (9.9 million, 3.4/9) remained about even with last week.
  • A 2-hour (8.5 million, 2.5/6) came back after a World Series break.
  • A full hour of (7.3 million, 3.1/9) was down almost 1 million.
  • (1.7/5) rounded off the hour with 4.3 million.

  • (18.76 million, 8.1/19 in 18-49) bested CSI in both the viewers and demos.
  • (18.75 million, 5.6/13) barely landed in second.
  • Both (8.4 million, 4.5/11) and (6.7 million, 3.7/9) were down from last week.
  • (3.3 million, 1.3/3) was pretty much even.

10pm

  • (14.6 million, 3.9/11 in 18-49 demo) rebounded with nearly 2 million more viewers than last week.
  • (9.1 million, 3.8/10) did about the same.
  • (7.5 million, 3.0/8) was slightly down from last Thursday.

**No new episode of Ellen today.  She’s still recovering from all the doggy drama**

  • Live With Regis and Kelly (ABC, syndicated):  will be pulling double-duty this week as he fills in for Regis Philbin in NY and tapes his show in LA.  (I’m guessing we’ll still be seeing him on as well.)  If we’re lucky, Guillermo will fill in for Gelman too.
  • Prison Break (FOX, 8pm):  The show returns tonight after being preempted by baseball last week.  What?  You don’t care either?
  • Heroes (NBC, 9pm):  Many fans have been waiting for Kristen Bell’s debut tonight.  Unfortunately, she’s one more new character I’ll have to ignore.

The debut of CBS’s Viva Laughlin (and the temporary departure of Without A Trace) should have made it an easy night for ABC.  But despite low numbers at 10pm, CBS still came very close to taking the night in both viewers and demos.

8pm

  • With 13.4 million viewers, the aging (4.3/13 in 18-49 age group) shows no signs of slowing down. Viva Laughlin
  • FOX’s Red Sox/Indians game (3.3/8) averaged about 11.6 million fans through the evening.
  • (9.7 million, 3.1/9) dropped about 730,000 viewers this week.
  • NBC’s (7.3 million, 2.7/8) and (6.3 million, 2.6/7) were both down from last week.
  • (5.1 million, 2.0/6) saw a 300,000 increase.

9pm

  • (20.8 million, 6.4/15 in 18-49) gained over 1 million new viewers to claim the night’s biggest audience.
  • (17.7 million, 7.1/17) took another 9pm win in the demos category.
  • An hour-long episode (8.5 million, 4.4/11) lost about 400,000.
  • (1.3/3) rounded off the hour with 3 million viewers.

10pm

The 9pm hour proves to be Thursday night’s most heated battleground.  And just like Wednesday night, ABC ruled the 18-49 age group while CBS gathered the largest audience.

  • (18.9 million, 7.8/19 in 18-49) led the night in the demo market.
  • (19.6 million, 6.0/14) raked in just enough viewers for evening’s win (despite being down about 1 million).
  • (8.9 million, 4.7/11) gained about 410,000 viewers from last week while (3.2 million, 1.2/3) was up over 250,000.
  • (1.8/4) came in fourth with 5.6 million viewers overall.

10pm

  • Although down 18% from its debut, (13.6 million, 3.6/10 in 18-49) ruled the hour in viewers.
  • (9.3 million, 3.6/10) was up 600,000 while (8.4 million, 3.4/10) was down about the same.

Although the introduction of ‘Seinfeld Vision’ helped the premiere of 30 Rock, it didn’t do do much for the network.  CBS took Must See Thursday—followed by ABC, NBC, FOX and CW.

  • (14.1 million, 4.4/13 in 18-49 demo) took the hour in both viewers and the key demographic group.
  • ABC’s (9.8 million, 3.4/10) saw a loss of over 1 million viewers this week, while (8 million, 3.4/10) lost 1/2 as much.
  • Emmy-award winning (7.4 million, 3.4/9) saw a 53% viewer increase from last season’s finale.


9pm

  • Although (20.8 million, 6.3/16 in key demo) lost 16% of last week’s viewers, it still took the crown from Grey’s.
  • (18.1 million, 7.4/18) also saw a loss in viewers but remained dominant in the 18-49 demo.
  • A million less viewers saw Pam and Jim outed in this week’s episode of (8.5 million, 4.5/11).


10pm

  • (14.5 million, 3.8/11) lost 13% of last week’s audience and narrowly won in the key demos.
  • (9 million, 3.7/10) was down 1 million this week; (8.7 million, 3.7/10) was down from it’s 11.1 million premiere.
